Is Aslan The Christ/Lion A Jedi Master?

Hey guys, it's Donnie...The Chronicles Of Narnia were a huge part of my childhood. While I never seriously got into Tolkien as a kid (although I rented The Hobbit cartoon from the public library pretty much every week) C.S. Lewis and Roald Dahl were some of the first books I ever really got excited about at a young age. Suffice it to say, I'm really stoked to see if Disney and Walden Media can bring these stories to big screen in a unique way. Obviously a lot of the imagery is close in nature to the Tolkien-verse, but there's certainly enough there to distinguish Narnia as different sort of place from Middle Earth, and it's starting to look like that differentiation is gonna happen. Plus, if this thing doesn't take off, Walden Media is probably toast.

Once upon a time, Brian Cox was onboard to provide the voice of Aslan, the heroic Lion/Christ figure of Narnia. Unforunately, he had to drop out because he lost a significant amount of weight and his voice changed dramatically. His replacement has yet to be announced, although rumors are now swirling in the Hollywood mists (aka smog) that Aslan will be voiced by none other than Liam Neeson, which is a pretty great alternative. He's been on a bit of a tear recently and I really couldn't be happier about it. I'd love to see him lay the feline smack down on Tilda Swinton's White Witch. We'll wait and see if this is for real...
