Rocky Lives!! Tommy Gunn Nowhere To Be Seen!!
Hey guys, it's Donnie...Rocky VI.
This sounds like all kinds of a bad idea.
The story is roughly based on (aka ripped off of) the 90's return of George Foreman. Here's the official synopsis:
Personally I've always had a soft spot for the Rocky movies. I love the first three, and the fourth to me is pretty much the pinnacle of 80's filmmaking. Nothing but one excessively long montage after another. The fifth one is pretty much garbage, but I still say it had the potential to be good. I really hope that this one can make up for the last one. I'd love to see Balboa go out on a high note and not in the goddamn gutter. Literally, Rocky V ended with Stallone standing in the freakin street gutter.

Lonely and at loose ends, retired boxer Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement, intending to fight a few low-profile local fights just to keep his hand in. But when he's approached to fight a match with reigning heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon, Rocky's modest little comeback becomes the center of a media firestorm.Mason "The Line" Dixon? I'm glad to see they're continuing the tradition of opponents with the most ridiculous names known to man. That ought to fit in nicely with Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago and Tommy Gunn. This thing has been in development for a good long while and it looked like it was never gonna happen, and then all of a sudden it was announced this morning that it very much is going to happen...in a month and a half. Yes, that's right, filming for Rocky VI starts in December, with Stallone starring, writing and directing.
